Our Story

Lines for Hope is a nonprofit organization based in southeastern Wisconsin, founded on a simple but powerful belief: that time spent on the water can heal, inspire, and transform lives.

We provide free, fully equipped guided fishing experiences for veterans and underserved youth two groups who deserve support, connection, and a chance to experience the beauty of the outdoors.

For veterans, fishing offers more than recreation. It provides quiet, purpose, and community a chance to decompress, rebuild confidence, and feel a sense of belonging after service. For youth who have never held a fishing rod or seen a sunrise over a Wisconsin lake, our programs open doors to nature, patience, and self-belief.

Every trip we organize is completely free to participants. We handle the gear, the guides, the bait, and the boat all families and veterans need to bring is themselves.

Lines for Hope is powered by the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers who share our vision of a Wisconsin where no veteran fishes alone and no child misses out on the magic of the outdoors.
