Veterans Program

Fishing has long been recognized as a powerful tool for healing. For veterans dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, or the difficult transition back to civilian life, time on the water offers something truly unique quiet, purpose, and community.

Lines for Hope provides fully guided fishing trips exclusively for veterans at no cost. Every trip includes:

• Professional fishing guide

• • All rods, reels, tackle, and bait

  • • Boat and safety equipment

    • • A welcoming, judgment-free environment

    • Our veteran participants often tell us that fishing gives them back something they thought they had lost peace, connection, and a reason to get outside. No experience necessary. All skill levels welcome.

Youth Program

Every young person deserves a chance to experience the outdoors. For many kids in southeastern Wisconsin, access to fishing, nature, and mentorship simply isn’t available. Lines for Hope changes that.

Our youth program brings underserved youth out on the water for fully guided fishing experiences at absolutely no cost. Each trip is designed to:

• Build confidence and self-reliance

• • Teach conservation and respect for nature

  • • Create lasting memories outdoors

    • • Connect young people with caring adult mentors

    • No fishing experience is needed. We provide everything rods, reels, bait, life vests, and a guide who genuinely cares. Kids leave with skills, stories, and a new sense of what’s possible

      Lines for Hope runs entirely on the generosity of our sponsors and donors. Your support puts veterans on the water, puts fishing rods in the hands of youth who need it most, and keeps every experience completely free for our participants.

  • Our sponsorship tiers include:

  • Flagship Sponsor $10,000 or more: Premier recognition on all marketing materials, event signage, and our website

  • First Mate Sponsor $5,000: Logo placement on website and event materials, social media recognition

  • Crew Sponsor $2,500: Name listed on website and event signage, recognition in our newsletter

  • Deck Hand Sponsor $500 to $1,000: Name listed on our website and in program materials

  We also welcome in-kind donations, including electronics, trolling motors, life jackets, fuel cards, and fishing gear. Every contribution big or small makes a direct impact on the lives we serve.
